12:00 - 12:50
109: German. Helga Bromm will lead this class that is a refresher as well as a review course -- for travelers and for everyone interested in learning a new language. Returning students should bring their books or material previously provided. New students with a rudimentary knowledge are encouraged to join the class.
110: Book Group. Let’s expand our reading horizons. We’ll discuss books from a variety of genres. Please refer to the book list on the last page of brochure or click on the button below. The books listed will be the basis for discussion, but we do expect to branch out to other books that we want to recommend to one another – those with similar topics or other work by the same author. So even if you haven’t read every book, come for “The Discussion!” Judith Busch and Peg Currie will do their best to keep the discussion somewhat on topic.
111: Revelation. The last book of Scripture has scared, confused, and led people to believe the end is coming. However, Revelation is a beautiful heavenly vision that paints an absolutely true story, clearly showing us our past, our present. and our future, using the entire Bible as a backdrop. The letter shows us clearly the situation we currently live, the choices we make, and the outcome of our decisions. Revelation is not a book of “gloom and doom,” but one of “hope and promise.” Pastor David Trexler will lead this class.
